Now that you have decided to go with all the benefits of an artificial or fake tree, such as no messy water, sappy carpet, easy storage, etc. the only questions that remain are fun ones…Which tree? Though we have many xmas trees to choose from, we will do our best to help guide you to the one that is meant for you.


First, there are four main design aspects to consider when deciding on your xmas tree:

•Family
•Height
•Profile
•Lighting

Family:

To help you on your xmas tree search, one of the ways we have grouped the trees is by families. At Great Occasions, we feature more than 20 different families. Some things to consider when deciding on a particular family of tree would be:
•Natural look versus flocked look
•Traditional versus contemporary
•Green branches versus colored branches

Height:

This should be one of your easier decisions to make. As soon as you decide where your Christmas tree will be located in your house, you should have a good feel for how high you would like it to be. Remember that you will want to leave at least 2 feet from the top of the tree to the ceiling – to make sure you have plenty of room for any tree toppers you may want to put on your tree.

Profile:

The profile of the artificial tree you choose may depend on just plain old preference. However, it could have a lot to do with the size and shape of the room in which the tree will be located.

•Always Lit Clear Lights: The lights stay lit even if a bulb burns out or is removed.
•Always Lit Multi Colored Lights: The lights stay lit even if a bulb burns out or is removed.
•Clear Lights: All the lights on the tree will be clear bulbs.
•Multi-Colored Lights: The lights on the tree will be a mixture of yellow, blue, green, red, orange.
•G50 Clear Lights: (G50 bulbs are golf ball in size)
•G50 Multi-Colored Lights (G50 bulbs are golf ball in size)

•Double Boxed Shipping - Our xmas trees are shipped in two boxes. This extra feature will reduce the chance of any loose or broken bulbs during shipping to you. Additionally, the extra box may be the perfect tree storage container.
•Extra Light Strands. Great Occasions ships one extra light strand for trees under 9 feet, and two extra light strands for trees over 9 feet in height.
•170 Milliamp Bulbs. We have found this to be the perfect bulb because it provides a stunningly bright light. Although there may be trees on the market with greater amperage, Great Occasions is interested in the longevity of your tree. Bulbs that are greater than 170 milliamps may burn hot and potentially decrease the life of the bulbs over time.
•Hinged Branches. Great Occasions trees feature banches that are permanently hinged to the center pole, unless noted.
•Sturdy Metal Base. At Great Occasions, we bring you artificial trees that have sturdy metal bases. This will provide you with an overall safer and more sturdy tree.
•Reliable Warranty. Great Occasions artificial Christmas trees come to you with at least a 10 year construction and 3 year/3,000 hour light warranty. There are no conditions on these warranties.
•Returns. If for any reason, the tree you order does not fit your needs, feel free to return it to us. The only condition we have on our returns is that we do not accept returns on artificial trees on or after December 25th. Of course, please contact customer service to obtain an RMA number prior to returning any items.
